To a Wild Rose
Designed
by Tammie Rundle
The focus of my card is on the friendships
we’ve made in our lives. This is what
helps define our characters, what gives us purpose, and what we all need to get
through some of life’s tough times that are thrown on us. What we as a world are going through right
now with the unknown of this Covid-19 virus has shaken us to our cores, the
very center of our beings. It has caused
us all to take a closer look at our lives and to reevaluate how we can change
to adapt to our new norm. It seems it
would be really easy to look at all the bad aspects and allow them to rule how
we move forward.
This is where I choose to dig my heels in and refuse to make
it that easy for this nuisance, albeit scary nuisance of a virus to control me
that way. I will continue to learn from
all that has happened and what will continue to happen, but I will not be a
victim of hopelessness. I’ve lived
through too much to let this thing take my soul down.
So, in the spirit of looking for the good,
I present to you my project for today.
Below is a list of supplies you will need
to recreate this card, and feel free to change it up in any way you
choose. After all, one of the beauties
of stamping is we can all use an idea and CASE it exactly as it’s shown, or we
can make it our own. We can use
different stamps, different colors, different card stocks and papers. We can add or delete embellishments and
techniques as WE choose.
Oh, and when something happens, say, some ink just randomly
shows up where it was unexpected, we can look at that as an opportunity to
change things up a bit.
