All My Love is Not JUST for Valentine's Day!

Today's post is a take off of my wonderful upline's project she presented at our last team meeting.  Meg Loven has been my Team Leader for many years and her enthusiasm and imagination are simply amazing!  So I thought I would use her idea, make a few changes and make it my own.  I hope you like it.  Leave a comment below to let me know what you think👩
I used the All My Love Suite in the Occasions catalog which includes the Meant to Be Bundle and the All My Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) and at first glance this suite really IS all about Valentine's Day, weddings and occasions of that nature.  I wanted to switch it up and go with a birthday theme so here's my project:

The supplies I've used are:

Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White
DSP: All My Love
Window Sheets
Ink: Lovely Lipstick and Soft Sea Foam
Stamps:  Sprinkled with Love, Amazing Life
Tools: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, 2" Circle Punch
Accessories: Tulle Ribbon-White, Sweet Pins and Tags
Adhesives: Adhesive Sheets, Snail, Glue Dots and Tear and Tape

The measurements for the cardstock, adhesive sheet, window sheet, and DSP are as follows:

Lipstick card base: 4 ¾”X 5 ½”-score 5/8” from top and 7/8” from bottom. Whisper White inner card: 2 3/4" X 5"

Adhesive sheet and Lipstick piece for hearts: 5 ½” X 1 ¾”. Adhere them together and run them through the Big Shot with the hearts framelit.  Save all the little hearts that you cut out to embellish your card later

All My Love DSP:  5 ¼” X 6”-score in half at 3”

Window Sheet: 3 1/8” X 5 ¼”.  Adhere the window sheet to the top and bottom of your card base using your Tear and Tape.  Notch the right side of the card using a circle punch through all the layers to make it easier to get the card out of the sleeve you’re making.  Use a glue dot on the lower left-hand side of your card to serve as a stop so your card doesn’t slide out the left side of your card sleeve

Once you have everything cut decorate the inside of your card and your tag.  Remove the backing from the hearts/adhesive piece and stick to your window sheet.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE USING THESE ADHESIVE SHEETS!  THEY MAKE STICKING INTRICATE AND SMALL PIECES VERY EASY AND THERE'S NO MESS!!!!!
Finally, embellish with your little "leftover" hearts and your Tulle Ribbon and then add your stamped label to finish your project.
Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Just a Note to My Friend

Today's card was made for a friend whom I've known for awhile (awhile being at least 15 years), who was on my Stampin' Up! team and who now has moved on.  I appreciate everything she stands for and who she is.  Such an amazing woman, Cathy is.  Her creations were always so amazing and beautiful so my card for her needed to meet that standard.  I hope she likes it.
How many of you have fallen in love with the Botanical Butterfly DSP?  I have, for sure!  I think the piece that's on my card is my very favorite.  Oh, and the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder...SOOOO beautiful!  I used the Sea Foam cardstock for this piece.  When you use these specialty embossing folders, be sure to lightly spritz your cardstock to give the fibers a little bit of give as you send your cardstock through the Big Shot.  Spritzing will keep your cardstock from tearing and it looks so nice!
I found a card on Pinterest that the demonstrator, Su Mohr, made using her new Rectangle framelits. These are available in the Occasions catalog and I took her lead with that one.  I love the layering of the stitches!  Thanks, Su!  I love the Highland Heather on the DSP, so went with it to stamp my sentiment using a stamp from Flourishing Phrases in the Annual catalog.  My little glimmer butterflies were punched with the (temporarily unavailable) Butterfly Duet Punch using the Sparkle Glimmer paper.  Have a great rest of your day and an even better tomorrow.  Happy stamping!!

Feeling Some Froggy Love

This stamp set (which is FREE) is my favorite pick from the first round of SaleABration.  Not sure why, but every time Stampin’ Up! comes up with a set that has frogs, they rock!  I love our concept artists❤

So my card I’m posting is my hubby’s birthday card.  What that means is...
UIKeyInputDownArrow ...it had to be super great!  I also wanted it to be bigger than what I normally make.  This card is actually 5 1/2” X 7 1/2”.  I used the thick Whisper White Cardstock (140272) for everything on this card.  I especially like this weight of Cardstock to use my Stampin’ Blends with.  I stamped my background in Smoky Slate Classic Ink (147113) using the clear mount Gallery Grunge stamp (146538). Then using my Blueberry Bushel ink (147138) I stamped my greeting from Amazing Life in the Occasions catalog (148750) and cut that greeting out with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits (148551) found on page 28 of the Occasions catalog.  If you like this sentiment on my card as well as the rectangle framelits you can actually save yourself some money by buying these things as a bundle...the Amazing Life Bundle (150624).  I think you should do that! Right?! I colored my frogs using my Blends.  Check ‘em out on page 205 of the Annual catalog.  There are SOOOO many colors and you can choose your own customization of your Froggy card😃. I used Granny Apple Green for my little guys.  This frog set is, like I said, FREE, with a $50 purchase and you can find it in the SaleABration (SAB) catalog on page 13.  The set is called So Hoppy Together (149725) and  guess what!  Starting March 1st this stamp set will have a coordinating set of framelits so you can cut these little frogs (and more)!  The event is called SaleABration Coordination and it will last the entire month of March!  Check back later for more details!  When I stamped the inside of my card I used a sentiment from another FREE SAB set, Hello Cupcake (149714).  And guess what, this set TOO has a coordinating framelit set that will be available during SaleABration Coordination!!!  What?! That’s right.  So click on one of the catalogs and start your order for your freebies.  I’d love to see what you come up with.  Oh, and the envelope is made from a retired Designer Series Paper (DSP), using my Envelope Punchboard (133774).  You don't have any retired DSP hanging around waiting for a purpose, do you?😉
