Faux metal stamping has been one of my favorites for years! Especially when making holiday cards!! It's a great way to embellish and simple to do.
The process is as follows: Take a piece of plain card stock and with your versamark pad ink a spot large enough for your intended stamp. Pour your embossing powder over the entire area and heat. Do this 3 more times (total of 4) and with the final heating, make sure you get the melted powder very warm. IMMEDIATELY press your stamp into the melted powder and firmly apply even pressure for a few seconds. Remove your stamp and WALA, magic! If your image does not turn out as desired, simply remelt your powder and try again.
For the bow on my wreath I used a window sheet and inked it up then carefully heated it until the ink was dry.
Let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day exploring the possibilities in your stampin' haven.
