Colorizing Holiday #SpiritedSnowmen
One of my favorite new colors in this catalog is the Granny Apple Green. Hence, this is what I've come up with using this color. The Cardstock is from the Brights collection (item #146990) as is the DSP (item #146964) and I colorized the Rhinestones (item #144220) with...what else...my Granny Apple Green Blend (Dark) (item #147274). LOVE, LOVE, LOVE doing this! Custom colors using what I have on hand! YES!!!!
And did you notice the stamp? What? Couldn't find it in the annual catalog? How about looking in the new Holiday Catalog? That's right. This catalog went live earlier this month and now you have the opportunity to get this exclusive snowman set. These guys/girls are so adorable! I always have to have a snowman set in my stash and this is the perfect one. You can find it on page 38. Order using either item #148072 (clear mount) or item #148075 (wood mount) so you can start creating today.
Below are a couple other ways I colored these cute snowmen. The one on the left is the colors of Mizzou, since that's one of the best colleges in Missouri. You could do it, obviously, for any school colors, right?! This technique just makes me smile. I love neon lights and these just remind of those so much!
Show me what you come up with. I'd love to see what you can do!

Emboss Colorizing Using Stampin' Blends
Seriously, are you loving the Stampin' Blends? I am absolutely enamored with them. Obviously I love that they can be "blended" to give a truly artistic look to my coloring projects, but the other aspect that I love is that they can colorize our rhinestones, pearls, buttons, and now look...they can colorize my heat embossed projects!
To make this card I took a piece of black cardstock, embossed my flowers from Touches of Texture (item #143251) with White Embossing Powder (item #109132) after stamping in Versamark Ink (item #102283). Then I colored on the embossed flowers with Pumpkin Pie (item #144599), Lovely Lipstick (item #147281), Daffodil Delight (item #144603) and Old Olive (item #144597) Blends. I chose the dark markers (each Combo comes in a light and dark marker) because I wanted that "neon" pop of color.
I'm continually learning to add texture to my projects and with this card I cut the background circles using one of the scallop circles in our Layering Circles Framelit Dies (item #141705) and added the texture with the coordinating ink.
I wanted my sentiment to pop so I left the embossing white. This greeting came from the Best Birds stamp set (item #141525).
Let me know what you think😁

Anniversary Wishes with Blueberry Bushel
How many of you have seen the new Blueberry Bushel? It's the new blue. It's in our 2018-2020 In Color collection and I'm extremely happy with it's arrival in the Annual Catalog. We've needed this shade of blue since we lost Brilliant Blue...and now we have it!
My card I'm sharing with you today is an anniversary card for my daughter and son-in-law. Tomorrow they're celebrating 14 years of marriage, which is awesome and I'm excited that I'm able to give them their gift in my own personal creation.
We are giving them a gift card so I wanted to make a card with a pocket to hold it in place and I wanted to do something different, so this is what I've come up with...
I cut my cardstock 11"X7" and then I scored it at 3 3/4", 5 1/2", and 7 1/4".
I then cut along the 5 1/2" scoreline from 1 3/4" to 5 1/4", creating the slot for the gift card
After folding the cardstock in a mountain fold
Now the gift card is secure in it's little pocket, ready to be found by Shannon and Matt.
If you have any questions about the fold, or anything else, drop me a comment. I'd love to hear from you.

I secured the pocket with Tear and Tape on the inner front flap of the card, right next to the scoreline
and also on the outside of the card along the outer edge of the "backbone" of the card.

Takeout Treats Bundle is NOT just for Halloween
As I was deciding how to present the Soot Technique (seen in previous video on my blog) with the Takeout Treats bundle in the new Holiday Catalog, I knew I had to showcase the versatility of this duo. It can easily be used not only for Halloween, but for birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day and more. Use your imagination...
I know how important it is to get value for what you spend your money on and this is an excellent set that does just that! Here I am with my display board. I'll showcase some of the cards and boxes below and you tell me, am I right?
Check out this bundle in the catalog on page 50 of the Holiday Catalog, item #149990 (clear mount) and #149989. Feel free to share any comments.
