Quite Curvy Birthday Card
I originally saw this card on Facebook, posted by HM Studio. Fortunately she has a YouTube video so I was able to watch as she put her “Happy New Year” card together.Thank you, HM, for your creative talent.
I have used the Quite Curvy Variety bundle to create my card. This bundle is available through January 4, 2021, so be sure to head to my website to order your bundle before it’s too late!
I thought about adding pictures to these instructions, but have decided that the video will be a much better method to show you how to make your own pop-up birthday card, or whatever occasion you choose. So visit my YouTube channel, Tammie Rundle, and check it out. Comments are welcome. I hope you enjoy❤

Instructions
1. Cut and score all cardstock and DSP (designer series paper)
2. Insert Whisper White cardstock into paper trimmer on the 6” score mark. Move cardstock to the 6 1/16” mark. Using cutting blade cut from ½” to 3 ¾” (go slowly!).
Move cardstock to the 5 15/16” mark. Again, cut from ½” to 3 ¾” mark (go slowly!)
Snip this segment out using Paper Snips.
3. Now, to form the pop-up portion of the card, with pencil, mark 1” above the 7 ½” score mark and mark 1” below the same score mark. Put your mark right on the edge of your cardstock. Repeat this step on the other side of the card.
4. Now, on the 7 ½” score line, mark 1” in from the edge of the cardstock.
5. These 3 marks will form a triangle and now fold this triangle in so the top of your cardstock now has mitered corners.
6. Glue the 4” X 5 ¼” DSP piece onto the Sahara Sand card front.
7. Glue the 4” X 3 1/8” DSP to the 5” X 3 ¼” piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock. Apply glue to the 1/2” top of this piece and adhere to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base, just under the score line and centered with ½” on each side.
8. Slide the Whisper White 4” X 12” piece of cardstock over this piece. Adhere the top and bottom of this piece to the Sahara Sand card base, keeping the pop-up piece free of adhesive.
9. Adhere the DSP pieces to the top of the Whisper White cardstock.
10. Using the 4” X ¼” piece of Sahara Sand cardstock, measure and lightly mark 1 1/8” on right and left of corners on top of cardstock. Then mark 1 1/8” down from the right and left corners. You’ll see a triangle formed with the marks. Cut this triangle on both the right and left sides of the top.
11. Before adhering the Sahara Sand piece to the inside of card stamp sentiments and then glue to inside of card.
12. At this point your card is ready for decorating. I stamped 3 sets of the 3 birds and the sentiment, Hello, onto thick Whisper White Cardstock. I colored them with Stampin’ Blends and used the Dies to cut the birds. I fussy cut the sentiment. I also cut a couple branches from a scrap of Sahara Sand cardstock. I decorated the inside top of the card with the leaf stamp using Shaded Spruce and then I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
13. For the front of the card I used the So Sentimental Bundle and stamped in Shaded Spruce and then cut the sentiment out with a coordinating label die.
14. Lastly, I tied a bow and adhered it using a glue dot and added some gilded gems for interest.
