Sentiments…the “right” sentiments…has always been an important determinant to selecting and then purchasing my stamps. I not only want a nice, stamped image, I also want my card to say the right thing, with the right font. What about you? I also want to choose stamps that will be good, not only for the current catalog period, but good enough to go into my permanent stamp stash for projects I make down the road.
Seeing the Many Messages Bundle in the 2021 Spring Mini
Catalog (pages 35 & 77), I instantly added it to my Wish List. Knowing that
there would be numerous desires from this amazing publication and knowing I must
pace myself/my budget I ALWAYS make a Wish List.
When I received this bundle, I was excited, but also a bit
perplexed as to how I would use it. The immediate realization with this bundle
is that all the sentiments are stamped at one time, and then cut all at one
time. One could easily choose to stamp and/or cut independently, but
personally, I think that would defeat the purpose of these items. Think about
the time you’ll be saving and the multiple colors/effects you can get when you
stamp and cut all together! Once you’re done you just store all your unused
pieces until another project arises. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
Without further verbiage check out these pictures below as I
show you what I mean:
Step One: Line up your cardstock on the Stamparatus grid paper in the bottom left corner. Ink stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp onto Basic White Thick Cardstock. If the images need to be bolder, re-ink stamp and stamp again. This step is such a delight using the Stamparatus. You get perfect stamping every time without having to start all over.
Step Two: Place stamped sentiments on Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine and line die up with images and cut.
The next thing to do is decide what project you’re making and choose your sentiments. Store your remaining stamped sentiments for the next project/s.
If you’ve seen my earlier blog posts, then you know that the Chick Bundles (Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick) are two of my all-time favorites. With that being said, you can understand why it made perfect sense to demonstrate the Many Messages Bundle with these bundles.
