Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, now I can have it all! We celebrated our oldest daughter's birthday on Sunday and I was so happy to be able to use her favorite color and her favorite way to express herself...regarding the film, camera and photo frame. Oh, and blinging it up just added that "something" that was missing;) Have fun blinging and coloring it with YOUR favorites!!!

Bling and Photography Done in Purple
I love being able to choose how a card is made. For years, pre-Stampin' Up!, I searched through the card stores to try to figure out which card front went with which inside sentiment, never quite finding just the right one, but "settling" for what was out there. Know what I'm talking about?

Flower Patch and Butterfly Bling
I am always honored when my hubby asks me to make a card for someone who works with him and I knew exactly which stamp set I would use this time. I have admired Flower Patch since it came out a few months ago, along with the accompanying Flower Fair Framelits.
Such a pretty set and with the new In Colors accompanied by some of the base colors these flowers just POP! Oh, and what about that butterfly cut from the Silver Glimmer Paper using the new Bold Butterflies Framelit? Stamping just gets more fun as time passes:)

Gorgeous Grunge IS Gorgeous
So, my youngest daughter, Kelsey, turned 26 on Monday. What?!!! How did that happen? When it's your children, you want to make the best card in the world. Right? Right! I can tell you that my love for my daughters is unconditional, unending and such an amazing love, that cannot be compared. I only have daughters, but for those of you with sons, I know that the same is true! So...here is my gift, my card gift, to Kelsey...
Kelsey is my firework! She is exciting, imaginitive, innovative, forward thinking, amazing. So this one's for you Kels. I love you and look forward to many more celebrations:)

Flower Patch with an Open Heart
Shhhh...don't tell....this is my SIL's birthday card;) She has beautiful gardens and loves being outdoors, like me, so this is what I came up with. I love this color combination and I really like the umph the embossing gives on the banner pieces. I did fussy cut the bird, but I really don't mind doing that. I do, however, love the framelits that coordinate with the Flower Patch Stamp. Have a great weekend and enjoy your stamping time.

Watercolor Wings in Watermelon Wonder
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Watermelon Wonder is my favorite of the 2015-2017 In Colors. I love them all, but this has definitely become my "go to" color! And the Dotted Lace Trim is so elegant. It's soft and beautiful and although I don't use ribbons a lot, this may be what converts me;)
Enjoy your day, wherever you are and stamp away.

2015-2017 In Colors and Stamps
The preface to this post is related to a challenge that my Team Leader, Meg Loven, gave to all of us. I decided to take part because like I said, I love what I do and I want to keep doing it. The only way I can continue is to strive to do my best, and this challenge helped me do just that! Meg challenged us to spend time every day during April doing something with our business. It didn't matter how much time we spent or what we did, but we had to honor the challenge and do "something" every day. It was actually very easy to spend time stamping, blogging and thinking about what I would do the next day. How can having fun stamping and creating be anything but fun, right? The upshot of the challenge is that it really made me focus on being more efficient, being a better team leader myself, challenging myself in my goals and actually writing down some things so I can accomplish so much more. At the end of the challenge Meg sent all who had succeeded a special gift.
Without further ado, I present Meg's incentive to me. She included precut card stock and DSP and I applied the inks and different stamped designs.
These cards are all 4X4 and the DSP is the Cherry On Top and cut to 3X3. Brilliant Meg!

Sprinkles of Life Thank You
One of my favorite ways to spice up my cards is by using embossing folders. This one, Decorative Dots, is perfect for a lot of reasons. The one reason that stands out the most to me is its perfectly imperfect polka dots. They're not quite round and just kind of splattered around. The stamp of the cone is from the RMHC set Sprinkles of Life and I used So Saffron card stock to recreate it with Crushed Curry ink. I punched the ice cream with the coordinating Tree Builder punch and then I stamped the 'You're the Best' and 'Thank You' in Watermelon Wonder and added some bling with the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, using the Confetti Hearts Border Punch. The DSP is Cherry on Top and I'm really appreciating the new size (6" X 6") of our paper stacks. I was able to get so much ice cream from just one piece!!
I love summer and I love ice cream, therefore I will be finding a lot of uses for this cute stamp. It'd be cool to see some of the things you're creating with this set and punch!
Have a great day!

Sprinkles of Life
Love this newest RMHC stamp set. The fact that it has a coordinating punch is just the cherry on top;) Along with the new sentiment stamp Friendly Wishes, I really like this card! Check out these sets so you can start creating today, too! You can make cute cupcakes, ice cream cones or this little basket full of fancy fun flowers. The skies the limit on what you can make! I stamped on and then punched the new Cherry on Top DSP so there are little pops of color. The grass is made from our new Dotted Lace Trim and this is the Cucumber Crush. Love the name, love the color! Have a groovy stampin' kind of day:) See you soon.--Tammie

Birthday Wishes from Stampin' Up!
TODAY IS THE DAY THE NEW 2015-2016 STAMPIN' UP! CATALOG GOES LIVE!!! This is one of the new stamps you can now call your own! With 'Build a Birthday' there are so many cute options. Check it out. It's on page 11 and oh...the possibilities...
When I layered this cake onto the crushed curry I felt like something was missing. So I came back in with the Big Polka Dots EF and dry embossed some random circles using our stylus from the Simply Scored. I wanted a pattern so I scored up and down and the side to side. I really liked how it came out. It was a last minute idea this time, but I'm going to use this technique again and again.
Have fun stamping and have a groovy day:)
