Merry Patterns Host Set by Stampin' Up!

When I initially saw the promotion for this stamp set I wanted it really bad because there's so much about it to love.  The deer, the patterns, the layering, and oh...the possibilities...

I was able to earn it at the end of September and sat down to play with it yesterday.  I wanted to do something outside of my comfort zone and then, today, I reeled it back in. Let me know what you think in the 'comment' area below.

Embossing Paste and Christmas

This card, although detailed with the embossing paste, is really quite easy and quick to make.  I can see making several to send to my family and friends this Christmas.  Now is the time to get started so when the holidays actually do come around, we can enjoy and not stress so much.

Here's a list of ingredients I used to make this card:

Stamp Set- Hearts Come Home (145416- Clear Mount) in Holiday Catalog
Cardstock- Whisper White  cut 4 1/4" X 11" and scored at 5 1/2" (100730).  Another scrap of WW that is large enough to accommodate the Stitched Shapes Oval Framelit (145372).
Ink: Real Red (126949)
Embellishments: 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon-Cherry Cobbler (144117)- cut at 5 1/2" and then angle trim after it's adhered, Embossing Paste (141979), Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (133751)

Contemplation Equals Kindness and Understanding

I was contemplating my next project and decided upon something to send to someone I love so dearly.  She's really struggling right now with a health issue and along with her in her struggle are her son and daughter and their families.

This card is for her, specifically.  In addition to her, this card is for all those struggling with health issues, be they physical, emotional, both. And most importantly, this card is for everyone.  Because you see, we're all in this together.  When one human being is suffering we are all suffering.  Whether we know this person or not.  In knowing this we must all strive to make our lives better with regard to this.

What we do does not have to be BIG.  What we need to do is something that is intended to improve the life of another.  A smile, a helping hand, an acknowledgement of others.

With that said, I'm sharing this card with YOU.  You are special, you are cared about and you are important.

Let's build on #SaraDouglass's plea to #makeacardsendacard.  I'll list below the ingredients for this card, if you would like to replicate it.

Sincerely,

Tammie
